Simone and Anna Pedone come from Petrosino di Marsala in Sicily. They lived across the street from each other growing up. Their families taught them a tradition of restuaranteering that built on informal gatherings of family and friends in Pentrosino. Both their families moved to the United States and they met in Chicago in 1969 at a friends wedding. Two years later they were married. Of course, the first thing they did together was to open a restaurant, Ana Maria in Morris, IL.
From Morris they moved to Beloit, WI and started Ana Maria II. They decided to settle down and picked Burlington, WI because they saw its potential and thought that it would be a nice place to raise a family. Ana Maria II was sold to family members and still exists today.
The Pedones opened Napoli's in Burlington in 1989. Over the years, the Burlington community has come to know the Pedones as the go-to people for delicious Italian cuisine, Pizza, and for all their catering needs.
Simone and Anna have three children and five grandchildren.
